Miniclipper Logistics has been awarded the prestigious title of Warehouse Company of the Year Award at the UKWA Awards.
Presented by Nick Hewer (The Apprentice) at the Dorchester hotel ceremony in London yesterday, Miniclipper was delighted to win against tough competition (Movianto and Clipper Logistics!).
MD Peter Masters said “With the hard work, commitment, and high standards of our employees, we were able to demonstrate why our customers stay with us for many years and grow with us. This award is for them.”
Storage and fulfilment is a fast growing sector within Miniclipper’s business which was traditionally a groupage haulage company, and the achievement of several warehouse outsource contracts recently have secured strong growth and expansion into new Bedfordshire facilities.
Storing over 30,000 pallets in total across 3 hibay sites in Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Houghton Regis, their expertise includes servicing the medical and print/graphics market, utilizing their specialist experience in UK distribution of packaged Hazchem products, high value time sensitive goods and retail / Amazon DC deliveries.
Encompassing the company’s environmental ethos also ensured they reached the shortlist for the Environmental Award category, previously won in 2013.
