Palletline London Wins The Prestigious Safe Vehicles Award at Brakes Annual Fleet Safety Awards

Brake’s annual Fleet Safety Awards recognise the achievements of those working to help reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers. Entries are invited from organisations running any type and size of fleet, and from companies that provide products or services to fleets, who have worked to improve safety. Palletline London has been awarded the Safe Vehicles Award, which was presented at Brakes annual celebratory gala dinner on the 29th September 2016. The event brings together fleet operators and suppliers to celebrate and share best practice in managing road risk.

Ellie Pearson, professional engagement manager at Brake, said: “We’ve been incredibly impressed by Palletline and their entry into our Fleet Safety Awards. It is fantastic that they are making a real effort to end the needless crashes on our roads as a result of at-work drivers.”

Matt Garland, general manager at Palletline London, commented: “I am naturally delighted that we have been recognised by Brake with this prestigious award. Winning the Safe Vehicles category against such illustrious competition highlights how serious we are as an organisation on being responsible road users. We always place health and safety at the top of our agenda and working in a busy city like London means we are sharing some of Europe’s busiest roads with other road users and our drivers need to have the best available tools to do the amazing job they do. We are rightly proud of our safety record and the investment we have made to continually improve our fleet safety through vehicle cameras, turn left audible warnings and our driver mentoring program. I am fortunate to have a dedicated and hard working team here at Palletline London and this award is exactly the kind of recognition they deserve.”

Graham Leitch, managing director at Palletline Plc, added: “Congratulations to the team at Palletline London for winning this prestigious award. It is a fantastic achievement and I commend the team at Palletline London for their hard work and determination in improving the fleet over the past couple of years. The win recognises the commitment at Palletline London to maintaining an industry leading quality standard.”
