Double Award for Pallet network

PRESS RELEASE

Palletline has been awarded two further industry accolades to add to its burgeoning trophy cabinet.

During the last 26 years the Palletline network has focussed its operations on the delivery of safe practice with a strong belief that it would drive both growth and quality of service throughout its’ network of independent hauliers.

The strategy has proven itself time and time again, with the network showing solid year-on-year growth, whilst attracting some of the best-known and respected transport businesses in the industry to its’ shareholder family.

The awards picked up during the last quarter of 2019 include a FORS Silver for Palletline London, which has a tough syllabus to achieve for its drivers, covering such areas as bicycle awareness, and enhanced e-learning for all, along with the installation of state of the art CCTV and sensors on vehicles.

The companies second achievement was for ISO 5001:2018 Energy Management System, making Palletline the only pallet network to achieve the standard. The benefits are the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and a reduced carbon footprint, whilst driving energy use awareness throughout the whole company.

Ken Bell, Palletline’s health and safety supremo said of the achievements, “It is in our DNA at Palletline to never stop reviewing our practices to see where we can improve them, and of course, although it is fantastic to gain recognition this will only go to spur us on to achieve even more in this critical area”.

Graham Leitch, Group Managing Director of Palletline added, “Our strategy is one of continued growth, but not at the expense of safety or the environment. Our teams work tirelessly to deliver industry leading standards across our operations and we are rightly proud of the awards we regularly receive recognising the value of our work”.
