Palletline is pleased to announce existing member Bowker Group will assume immediate responsibility for the Wigan and part of Bolton, Manchester and Preston postcode areas previously managed by Austin Wilkinson & Sons Ltd following their departure from the network on 22nd February 2019.
Graham Leitch, Group Managing Director of Palletline commented, “Austin Wilkinson & Sons have been a great asset to Palletline and we would like to offer them a heartfelt thanks for all their hard work and dedication to the network”. The main reason for the members departure is as a result of ensuring the future goals of both the network and member businesses are truly aligned.
Bowker Group have been members of Palletline since 2016 through their acquisition of Potter Logistics and are a very highly regarded transport business in their own right with resources and services ranging from domestic network freight through to warehousing, hazardous goods, coupled to a range of sea and airfreight services. Bowker Group, headquartered in Preston, Lancashire, was founded in 1919 and are currently celebrating their 100th anniversary.
