New Mercedes Actros for Masters Logistical Fleet

Palletline Member Company Masters Logistical Services Ltd have added two new vehicles to the existing fleet, investing in two new Mercedes Actros 6 x 2 tractor units to support an increased demand for their services.

Masters operate 24 hours a days, 7 days a week from
Stretham Ely, providing a fully managed warehouse offering providing 100,000ft2 of dry storage space. Growth in demand for the company's services has prompted investment in the vehicle fleet which ranges from small transit vans up to the new Actros and other similar vehicles.

"We chose the Actros because the innovative technology provides economical transport solutions, either long-distance or short-haul, combined with exemplary Mercedes-Benz
standards of safety," stated Operations Director Mark Stoodley.

Speaking of the new vehicles and the trends the company are currently experiencing in the market place, Masters Logistical Services Managing Director Paul Upton commented, "We felt this was a good time to invest further in our core transport fleet.

Despite tough economic conditions we have managed to maintain the vast majority of our customer relationships and have won new contracts across both the transport and warehousing operations.

Business continues to function and demand for our services has remained, but competition is fierce - increasing our fleet when a number of our competitors might be reducing theirs provides us with a flexibility to adapt quickly to opportunities as and when they arise."
