Palletline Shortlisted for IFW Awards

We're on a winning streak at Palletline – following our success in the Motor Transport Awards in July, we've been selected as finalists for the Innovation category of the International Freighting Weekly Awards 2009.

IFW claim that they received the largest number of entries in recent memory for this year's Awards, so we are delighted to rank amongst the very best!

The Award required us to describing how we have demonstrated innovation and excellence in our business practices. The judges were looking for a project or technological development that showed genuine innovation, and our Project Vision has earned us a shortlisted place amongst the six finalists.

Project Vision is Palletline's innovative integrated infrastructure management solution designed around the implementation of advanced IT processes to deliver freight transparency for improved efficiency, information management and overall customer service.

The objective of Project Vision was to make best use of IT to optimise Palletline services, stripping cost out of the business to the benefit of both Palletline Member Companies and the end users of the Palletline network.

The winners will be announced at the IFW Awards evening, to be held at The Chelsea Football Club in London on Thursday 15 October 2009.
