Palletline City 24 on the Road in Greater London

Palletline’s City 24 service was developed to help reduce the number of vehicles entering city centres by providing frequent consolidated deliveries from designated consolidation centres on the outskirts of Britain’s major towns and cities.

City 24 operates consolidation services on a 24 hour basis which includes timed evening and night time collections and deliveries. This has resulted in a congestion solution which enables users to select a premium, environmentally friendly service to improve accessibility and reliability as well as avoiding escalating parking fines.

Choice of the Renault Mascott was based on the strength and capacity of this nimble supersized van, which achieves an optimised load capacity thanks to a ladder frame chassis and reinforcing around the load area. The end result is excellent manoeuvrability – exactly as required for city centre deliveries and collections – combined with payloads similar to those of a traditional, more cumbersome 7.5 tonner.
