William Kirk Joins Palletline Network

Palletline continues to expand its network with the recruitment of Adlington (Macclesfield) based haulier William Kirk Ltd as its new member for post codes in the Stockport area. William Kirk represents the latest high quality haulier to join the Palletline network in recent months and brings Palletline’s total number of depots close to 60.

William Kirk is a longstanding family business with a well known name for service. Operating over 50 tractor units and almost 80 trailers, it represents a significant addition to the Palletline network. Director Peter Kirk pointed to the reputation of Palletline for service quality as a key reason for making the move. “We were aware of the common view that all networks are much the same but from what we have seen and heard from other members, Palletline really is different, largely because of its obsession with service quality,” he said. The unique nature of Palletline’s ownership was another important factor. “Palletline was the obvious choice for us as it is the only system owned entirely by its members,” he remarked. “The close involvement of members in every aspect of the network leads directly to high levels of service quality, with a shared commitment to getting the job done for everyone’s benefit.”
