McGill Transport Joins Palletline Network

Palletline continues to expand its network with the recruitment of Bristol based haulier I J McGill Transport Ltd as its new member for Bristol. McGill, who will begin trading as part of the Palletline network on 1st January 2006, represent the third, major haulier to choose the Palletline network in recent months and brings Palletline’s total number of depots close to 60.

Founded in 1979, McGill now operate over 50 vehicles, from 3.5 tonne rigids to 44 tonne artics and in excess of 130,000 sq. ft of warehouse space with a wide range of handling equipment. Director Ian McGill pointed to share ownership as the key reason for choosing Palletline. “Palletline was the obvious choice for us as it is the only system owned entirely by its members,” he remarked. “The close involvement of members in every aspect of the network leads directly to high levels of service quality, with a shared commitment to getting the job done for everyone’s benefit.”
