Ringing the Changes in Health and Safety

Ken Bell is the new health and safety manager at Birmingham-based Palletline plc, the UK’s leading pallet distribution network.

Ken, 26, has worked in health and safety for all his career to date and joins Palletline having most recently been health and safety co-ordinator at Goodyear Tyres in Birmingham for six years. Prior to that he worked for Excel Logistics in Aldridge.

He will be working on the implementation of more formalised training and fostering greater employee involvement in health and safety issues.

Ken holds a NEBOSH General Certificate and has also attended a number of courses in health and safety management run by the Institute of Health & Safety.

He said: “Joining Palletline is a great opportunity to progress in my career and I am very enthused by the response to date from colleagues to the new initiatives being introduced.”

Ken, 26, is engaged and lives in Rushall in Walsall.
