Kevin to Spearhead Commercial Development

Palletline plc, the UK’s leading pallet distribution network, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Kevin Buchanan to the new role of General Manager – Commercial Development.

Kevin’s brief will be to develop the Palletline network and brand through a variety of strategic sales and marketing related activities.

He has an impressive track record in business development in the transport and distribution industry, having most recently been Business Development Director of Wales-based TWT Logistics Group where he played a key role in trebling the company’s annual turnover.

Kevin was previously Managing Director of the International Moving Company, a major multi-site commercial removals company, where he was again instrumental in substantial revenue increases.

His earlier career was spent with Allied Pickfords where from an initial management trainee position he worked his way up to become general manager for the company’s operations in Canada.

Kevin commented: “Palletline is a leading player in the pallet distribution sector and I’m very much looking forward to playing my part in the network’s commercial development in line with its unique co-operative ethos and the outstanding service levels for which it is renowned.”

Kevin, 42, hails originally from Dumfries in Scotland but now lives in Fairford, Gloucestershire.
