The award is the most coveted in the industry, recognising the outstanding haulier or distribution company of the year. Companies have to show not only strong financial results, but a strong all-round commitment to professionalism and customer care, and active measures taken to improve service levels.
Expect Distribution employs 105 people and owns and operates 52 vehicles, while Framptons has 135 staff with a fleet of 60.
According to Palletline Managing Director Glyn Jones, the success of Framptons and Expect in reaching the final is a clear demonstration of the stature of the Palletline network.
"Any network is only as good as its membership and the fact that two of our members have been independently recognised as being among the top four hauliers in the UK shows the quality of the companies who make up Palletline. We wish them both well for the final."
