Leach Distribution's novel anniversary celebration

New Palletline Member Company Leach Distribution hit upon a novel way to mark the 20th anniversary of its local hospice, using its new Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. The Rochdale-based transport and storage firm has emblazoned the sides of its latest 7.5-tonner with logos marking the occasion, and is allowing the charity to sell the remaining space on the curtains and use the proceeds to help fund its work.

Springhill Hospice opened in 1989 and provides specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting illness. It relies on voluntary contributions to keep its doors open.

Leach Distribution is a long-term supporter of the hospice. Several companies have already taken the opportunity to advertise their names on the sides of its new truck, netting hundreds of pounds of valuable income for this deserving cause.

The first contributor to sign up was Ciceley Commercials, the local Mercedes-Benz truck and van agent, which supplied the new Canter 7C15 – the German manufacturer's UK dealer network is also responsible for sales and support of the popular Mitsubishi Fuso light truck range.

Ian Jenkins, Fund-raising Manager at Springhill Hospice, says: "John Leach and his team are true friends of the hospice and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for this latest fund-raising initiative. Their new truck looks very impressive and we look forward to adding the names of more sponsors over the coming weeks and months."
